BOCA-DE-HUERGANO
This mission originates in the mountainous terrain south of the Cantabrian range, near the Spanish municipality of Unquera, and terminates in the high plains of the Meseta Central, approaching the city of Soria. The corridor between these zones traverses varied Spanish geography, featuring significant elevation changes and winding ascents. Technically, the route begins as a punishing climb, a true grinder that tests the operator's endurance through a series of sustained elevation gains. This transitions into a more flowing descent before returning to a rhythmic, undulating pattern of climbs and descents, punctuated by periods of moderate speed. The elevation profile suggests a route demanding strategic throttle control. This route is best described as an exercise in commitment, with the machine and rider becoming one with the undulating Spanish earth.
