DIA-03-MARGUERITTE-RIVOLI
This mission commences in the vicinity of Grau-du-Roi, France, and concludes in the Italian Alps near Valgrisenche. The operational corridor traverses varied terrain, shifting from the coastal plains of Occitanie to the rugged, mountainous expanse of the Western Alps. Technically, this is a significant elevation-gain mission. The initial sector offers relatively mild undulations, punctuated by periods of sustained, moderate speed. However, as the operator progresses eastward, the route becomes a relentless grinder, with numerous punishing climbs and sharp, rapid descents that test operator endurance. This route proves that even the most scenic vistas are often located at the top of a very long hill.
